Gabriel Tick

about

Gabriel Tick is an award-winning visual artist and director creating work across film, design, illustration, photography and emerging visual media.

Originally from New York, Gabriel developed his creative voice within the city's downtown art and music scene before earning a BFA in Illustration from Parsons School of Design. His career has evolved across illustration, animation, visual effects, filmmaking and creative direction, always driven by a passion for visual storytelling.

As Art Director at VICE, Gabriel helped launch the VICELAND television network and co-founded VICE Visual Studios, helping shape its visual identity across broadcast and digital media.

Today, Gabriel collaborates with musicians, filmmakers, brands, studios and creative agencies on music videos, films, title sequences, commercial campaigns and independent artistic projects. Working across traditional and emerging media, every project begins with an idea, not a tool.

"I've never been interested in a particular medium. I've always been interested in making compelling images." — Gabriel Tick

Whether a project begins with a pencil, a camera, an edit suite or AI, the goal is always the same: finding the strongest visual language for an idea.
